Our team at Norton Folgate are working around the clock during the British Cherry Harvest. They are busy grading, packing, and shipping out to customers including Ocado, Waitrose, and Asda to name but a few. As part of British Cherry Growers (BCG) we are dedicated to ensuring only the very best product reaches the shelves. This year we once again relied heavily on the diligent work of the honeybees who pollinate the flowers in the orchards to produce our delicious fruit. Harvest started slightly earlier this season than in some previous years. Tom Waterman, Senior Commercial Manager at Norton Folgate comments: “We have a very short window to grade and sell our fruit, now forecasting 700 tons to the end of the season which is now in sight. We are incredibly proud of what we produce and it’s all thanks to our dedicated team”
