Mark Culley, Managing Director

Mark comes from a family who have grown top fruit in Essex for three generations and has been involved in fruit-growing all his life having grown-up on his family farm in Essex. Mark is a former Hadlow College student of commercial fruit production and has worldwide industry knowledge and affection for the UK top-fruit industry. Mark has worked for OrchardWorld since its conception in 1989 and is both Managing Director of OrchardWorld and The Orchard Fruit Company.

Ian brings with him a degree in Applied Physics and over 20 years worth of experience. He started his career with one of the big five UK retailers and now stands as our procurement Director.

Commercial Manager, OrchardWorld
Sam has been in the food industry for over 20 years, initially in chilled salads and ready meals, but the majority of this in fresh produce (vegetables and subsequently fruit). Sam’s experience lies in commercial and customer management and strategic business development.

Alan first joined the company in 1991, and has been involved with the UK Top Fruit industry for over 30 years. A former Hadlow College fruit student and some years working in both orchard and pack house production have allowed a depth of knowledge that bodes well with the company’s UK procurement operation.

Ana joined OrchardWorld in 2017 and brings over three years experience in logistics as well as a degree in Industrial Engineering in Quality. Having previously specialised in the supply chain between Mexico and the United States, Ana has joined OrchardWorld as Packaging and Order Controller.

Simon has been part of our technical team since 2005 and has worked in the fresh produce industry since 2004, specialising in Top Fruit quality and specification systems. Having a Computer Science degree he is able to offer quality support in wide range of areas.

Julie Strutt
Management Accountant MAAT
Julie joined the company in 2010 and comes with 8 years of Accounting Experience in Petroleum Retail. She is qualified to AAT and is responsible for the production of the Management Accounts.
